The work New Paradise (Set Of Seven) by Hou Junming was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The auction ended at the price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,704.88), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hou Junming have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New Paradise (Set Of Seven) in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,807,500.00 (€ 161,160.84).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit New Paradise (Set Of Seven) von Hou Junming kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.704,88) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hou Junming auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New Paradise (Set Of Seven) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.807.500,00 (€ 161.160,84).
