Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Liu Jiao Hou Shi Transformation Tableaux by Hou Chun-Ming was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 211,500.00 (€ 18,488.97). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hou Chun-Ming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work God Rod, which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 787,500.00 (€ 64,832.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Liu Jiao Hou Shi Transformation Tableaux von Hou Chun-Ming kam im November 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 211.500,00 (€ 18.488,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Hou Chun-Ming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit God Rod beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für HKD 787.500,00 (€ 64.832,10) versteigert wurde.
