Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art – Day Sale, which included the work My Things About Circle No. 2 by Hong Hao. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,012.36). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hong Hao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Money Front, which sold at auction in October 2007 for HKD 727,500.00 (€ 64,865.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art – Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit My Things About Circle No. 2 von Hong Hao zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.012,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Hong Hao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Money Front beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für HKD 727.500,00 (€ 64.865,57) versteigert wurde.
