This artwork by HM King Charles III achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Windsor Castle North Aspect sold for GBP 2,048.00 (€ 2,048.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Admittedly, works by HM King Charles III have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Body Marks in December 2019 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,040.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von HM King Charles III erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wurde die Arbeit Windsor Castle North Aspect für GBP 2.048,00 (€ 2.048,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von HM King Charles III auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Body Marks im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.040,97).
