The work Balmoral by HM King Charles III was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,408.00 (€ 1,638.67), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by HM King Charles III achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Body Marks in December 2019 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,040.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Balmoral von HM King Charles III wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.408,00 (€ 1.638,67) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von HM King Charles III erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Body Marks im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.040,97).
