Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Body Marks, 1996 by HM King Charles III was auctioned at Bonhams in Sidney in August last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 18,450.00 (€ 12,585.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by HM King Charles III have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2019 the work Body Marks was auctioned for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,040.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Body Marks, 1996 von HM King Charles III kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Sidney zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von AUD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von AUD 18.450,00 (€ 12.585,96) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von HM King Charles III konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2019 die Arbeit Body Marks für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.040,97) versteigert.
