Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Beach by Hiroshi Sugito was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2021. It achieved a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,462.10), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hiroshi Sugito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Lounge in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 216,000.00 (€ 160,558.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Beach von Hiroshi Sugito kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.462,10) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hiroshi Sugito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Lounge im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 216.000,00 (€ 160.558,98).
