Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hikari Shimoda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2021. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Tamukeru #1 sold for HKD 215,000.00 (€ 23,019.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hikari Shimoda; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Whereabouts Of God No.31 sold at auction in September 2020 with the realized price of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 24,967.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hikari Shimoda erzielte im April 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Tamukeru #1 für HKD 215.000,00 (€ 23.019,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hikari Shimoda; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Whereabouts Of God No.31 im September 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 24.967,74).
