Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stand Up Savior by Hikari Shimoda was auctioned at Bonhams in October 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 2,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 2,550.00 (€ 283.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hikari Shimoda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Whereabouts Of God No.31 in September 2020 with an auction result of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 24,967.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stand Up Savior von Hikari Shimoda kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 2.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 2.550,00 (€ 283,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hikari Shimoda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Whereabouts Of God No.31 im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 24.967,74).
