Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower Child by Hikari Shimoda was auctioned at Bonhams in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 4,080.00 (€ 453.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hikari Shimoda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Whereabouts Of God No.31 in September 2020 with an auction result of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 24,967.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flower Child von Hikari Shimoda kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 4.080,00 (€ 453,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hikari Shimoda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Whereabouts Of God No.31 im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 24.967,74).
