Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction INTERSECT: Online Auction, which included the work Lonely Child #5 by Hikari Shimoda. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 69,300.00 (€ 9,017.57), 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hikari Shimoda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Whereabouts Of God No.31, which sold at auction in September 2020 for HKD 226,800.00 (€ 24,967.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion INTERSECT: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lonely Child #5 von Hikari Shimoda zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 9.017,57) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hikari Shimoda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Whereabouts Of God No.31 beobachtet, die im September 2020 für HKD 226.800,00 (€ 24.967,74) versteigert wurde.
