Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jizo by Hideaki Kawashima was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2017. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,116.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hideaki Kawashima achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grumble in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 58,600.00 (€ 39,896.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jizo von Hideaki Kawashima wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.116,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hideaki Kawashima erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grumble im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 58.600,00 (€ 39.896,51).
