Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work A pause on the patrol by Hermanus Willem Koekkoek. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,240.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermanus Willem Koekkoek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hussars in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A pause on the patrol von Hermanus Willem Koekkoek zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.240,06) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hermanus Willem Koekkoek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hussars im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
