Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.536,73) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herman Saftleven auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape With Travelers im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 178.559,40).
