The work Die Wiederentdeckung Des Bauhauses Aus Dem Geist Der Postmodernen Gartenlaube (The Rediscovery Of The Bauhaus In The Spirit Of The Post-Modern Gazebo) by Heribert Ottersbach was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,297.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Heribert Ottersbach have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2014 the work Attentat (Ii) was auctioned for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,682.06).
