Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work In a shaded plaza by Henry Woods was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. It achieved a price of GBP 7,012.50 (€ 7,978.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Henry Woods have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Country Studio in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 39,176.27).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Woods auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Country Studio im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 39.176,27).
