This artwork by Henry Woods achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2007. In the Victorian & Traditionalist Pictures auction, the work A Country Studio sold for GBP 26,400.00 (€ 39,176.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. This high result makes A Country Studio the most expensive artwork by Henry Woods that we have observed at auctions so far.
