It achieved a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,501.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Tonks - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study for 'An Advanced Dressing Station in France', which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,301.70).
