This price was achieved in the auction The Male Form at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Scott Tuke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Midsummer Morning in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 270,650.00 (€ 395,140.46).
