Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Shipping Group' in original frame by Henry Scott Tuke was sold in the The Marine Sale auction at Bonhams in April this year. It achieved a price of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,068.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Scott Tuke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Midsummer Morning in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 270,650.00 (€ 395,140.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'Shipping Group' in original frame von Henry Scott Tuke wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Marine Sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.068,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Scott Tuke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Midsummer Morning im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 270.650,00 (€ 395.140,46).
