Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henry Roderick Newman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Porta Dei Canonici, Duomo, Florence sold at auction in November 2016 with the realized price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 70,901.87).
