The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,693.98) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Maidment - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Feeding the ducks, which sold at auction in September 2000 for GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,932.27).
