A top price for Henry Maidment - as previously expected
The work Feeding the ducks by Henry Maidment was sold in the BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in London in September 2000. The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,932.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Feeding the ducks is the most expensive artwork by Henry Maidment that we have observed at auctions so far.
