Admittedly, works by Henry John Stock have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Uplifting of Psyche 'By the help of a divinity not our own' - Virgil in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 79,311.79).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.846,84) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry John Stock auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Uplifting of Psyche 'By the help of a divinity not our own' - Virgil im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 79.311,79).
