Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Ford by Henry F. Farny was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 187,500.00 (€ 165,592.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henry F. Farny have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In Pastures New in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,426,500.00 (€ 1,024,858.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Ford von Henry F. Farny kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 165.592,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry F. Farny auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In Pastures New im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.426.500,00 (€ 1.024.858,11).
