Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Deer in the Forest by Henry F. Farny for USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,016.06). This price was achieved in the auction American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry F. Farny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In Pastures New in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,426,500.00 (€ 1,024,858.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Deer in the Forest von Henry F. Farny für USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.016,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry F. Farny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In Pastures New im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.426.500,00 (€ 1.024.858,11).
