In May 2019 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work The Day Is Done by Henry F. Farny. The »bidding war« ended at USD 735,000.00 (€ 659,251.95), 23% above the upper estimate. Other works by Henry F. Farny have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 1,426,500.00 (€ 1,024,858.11) in December 2008 for the work In Pastures New.
