Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper and Day Sale, which included the work Barques à Collioure (le 14 Juillet) by Henri Martin. The price achieved of USD 107,100.00 (€ 99,804.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Martin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Joie De Vivre in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,706,500.00 (€ 1,380,216.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper and Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barques à Collioure (le 14 Juillet) von Henri Martin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 99.804,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Martin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Joie De Vivre im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.706.500,00 (€ 1.380.216,76).
