Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henri Laurens could be acquired at Christies in New York in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper and Day Sale auction, the work SFA (Services Fabrications Aviation) changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,989.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Laurens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Boxeur in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 2,055,000.00 (€ 2,292,195.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henri Laurens konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper and Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit SFA (Services Fabrications Aviation) für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.989,10) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Laurens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Boxeur im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.055.000,00 (€ 2.292.195,94).
