Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Jeune femme by Henri Laurens. The price achieved of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 102,463.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Laurens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Boxeur in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 2,055,000.00 (€ 2,292,195.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jeune femme von Henri Laurens zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 102.463,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Laurens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Boxeur im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.055.000,00 (€ 2.292.195,94).
