Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a lady, seated three-quarter-length, in a white and gold gown with a blue robe, a garden beyond by Henri Gascars for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,905.03). This price was achieved in the auction Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Gascars achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Jacques De Goyon Iii (1644-1725), Sire De Matignon, Comte De Thorigny, Lieutenant Général Des Armées in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 138,966.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, seated three-quarter-length, in a white and gold gown with a blue robe, a garden beyond von Henri Gascars für USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.905,03) erwerben.
