Admittedly, works by Henri Gascars have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Jacques De Goyon Iii (1644-1725), Sire De Matignon, Comte De Thorigny, Lieutenant Général Des Armées in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 138,966.09).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Said To Be Louise De Keroualle, Duchess Of Portland von Henri Gascars kam im April 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.823,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Gascars auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Jacques De Goyon Iii (1644-1725), Sire De Matignon, Comte De Thorigny, Lieutenant Général Des Armées im Januar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 138.966,09).
