Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Flight Into Egypt (Hollstein 3) by Hendrik Goudt was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2009. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 563.00 (€ 629.10). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik Goudt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tobias With The Angel Dragging The Fish (Hollstein 2) in March 2012 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,991.11).
