Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work cov by Helmut Dorner for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,426.76). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Helmut Dorner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dis in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,141.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit cov von Helmut Dorner für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.426,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helmut Dorner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dis im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.141,14).
