Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In front of the mirror by Harry Maas was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2003. The price achieved of EUR 1,195.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Harry Maas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Relaxing on the sofa in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 7,767.50.

Die Arbeit In front of the mirror von Harry Maas kam im September 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.195,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harry Maas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Relaxing on the sofa im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.767,50.
