Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Carla Voor 'T Laatst by Harry Maas for EUR 540.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 900.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Maas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Relaxing on the sofa in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 7,767.50.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Carla Voor 'T Laatst von Harry Maas für EUR 540,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 900,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harry Maas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Relaxing on the sofa im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.767,50.
