Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Harold Ancart was auctioned at Christies in New York in December last year. It achieved a price of USD 40,320.00 (€ 37,689.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold Ancart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,018,500.00 (€ 835,246.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Harold Ancart kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 40.320,00 (€ 37.689,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harold Ancart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.018.500,00 (€ 835.246,84).
