Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Harold Ancart was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in July this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 15,240.00 (€ 17,780.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold Ancart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,018,500.00 (€ 835,246.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Harold Ancart wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 15.240,00 (€ 17.780,46) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harold Ancart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.018.500,00 (€ 835.246,84).
