A top price for Harold Ancart
In May 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included this untitled work by Harold Ancart. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,018,500.00 (€ 835,246.84), 27% above the upper estimate. With this result, this work without title is even the most expensive work of art by Harold Ancart that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Harold Ancart
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Harold Ancart zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.018.500,00 (€ 835.246,84) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist dieses Werk ohne Titel sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Harold Ancart, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
