Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Harold Ancart could be acquired at Christies in New York in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Edition: New York: Featuring the Collection of Kenwal Steel in Support of GLAAD auction, the work TOMORROW, MMXIII changed hands for USD 630.00 (€ 579.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold Ancart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,018,500.00 (€ 835,246.84).
