Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2021 Grisebach held the auction Online Only 2020/2021 - OO 5 -3F- 18.12.20-10.1.21, which included the work Franz W. Seiwert. by Hans Schmitz. It changed hands for a price of EUR 375.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Schmitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abwehr. in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2021 führte Grisebach die Auktion Online Only 2020/2021 - OO 5 -3F- 18.12.20-10.1.21 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Franz W. Seiwert. von Hans Schmitz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 375,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Schmitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abwehr. im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
