This artwork by Hans Heysen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Sydney in November last year. In the Important Australian Art auction, the work Untitled (Landscape), 1909 sold for AUD 7,995.00 (€ 5,202.21) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Heysen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Morning Mist in March 2005 with an auction result of AUD 203,150.00 (€ 124,374.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Heysen erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Sydney einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Australian Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape), 1909 für AUD 7.995,00 (€ 5.202,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Heysen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Morning Mist im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 203.150,00 (€ 124.374,35).
