Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Arkaba, 1949 by Hans Heysen was auctioned at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne in November 2020. The price achieved of AUD 24,600.00 (€ 20,589.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Heysen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Morning Mist in March 2005 with an auction result of AUD 203,150.00 (€ 124,374.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Arkaba, 1949 von Hans Heysen kam im November 2020 bei Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 24.600,00 (€ 20.589,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Heysen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Morning Mist im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 203.150,00 (€ 124.374,35).
