The work Morning Mist by Hans Heysen was sold in the THE BLEASEL COLLECTION OF AUSTRALIAN PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in March 2005. The price achieved of AUD 203,150.00 (€ 124,374.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 180,000.00 – 240,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Morning Mist is the most expensive artwork by Hans Heysen that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 203.150,00 (€ 124.374,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 180.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden.
