Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marlene by Hannah Höch was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2005. It changed hands for a price of USD 38,400.00 (€ 31,095.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hannah Höch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frau und Saturn in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 1,085,000.00 (€ 1,235,612.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Marlene von Hannah Höch kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 38.400,00 (€ 31.095,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hannah Höch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frau und Saturn im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.085.000,00 (€ 1.235.612,57).
