(324 x 248 x 12 mm.)

This artwork by Hannah Höch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in April this year. In the The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online auction, the work Miniaturen sold for USD 2,268.00 (€ 2,054.35) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hannah Höch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frau und Saturn in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 1,085,000.00 (€ 1,235,612.57).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hannah Höch erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online wurde die Arbeit Miniaturen für USD 2.268,00 (€ 2.054,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hannah Höch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frau und Saturn im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.085.000,00 (€ 1.235.612,57).
