Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Two Works) by Hajime Sorayama was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in September 2021. The price achieved of HKD 10,710.00 (€ 1,187.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hajime Sorayama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 651,307.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Two Works) von Hajime Sorayama kam im September 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.710,00 (€ 1.187,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hajime Sorayama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 651.307,65).
