Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Sexy Robot - Walking in the Space by Hajime Sorayama. The price achieved of HKD 3,528,000.00 (€ 418,849.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,800,000.00 – 4,800,000.00. Other works by Hajime Sorayama have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2021 the work Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B was auctioned for HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 651,307.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sexy Robot - Walking in the Space von Hajime Sorayama zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.528.000,00 (€ 418.849,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.800.000,00 – 4.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Hajime Sorayama konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2021 die Arbeit Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B für HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 651.307,65) versteigert.
