In the Modern Day Auction auction, the work Washington Square, Winter, New York changed hands for USD 27,720.00 (€ 25,831.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guy Carleton Wiggins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wall Street In Winter in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 177,999.29).
