Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Guo Wei was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 21,332.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 180,000.00 – 240,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guo Wei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bathroom Series No. 4 in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,327,500.00 (€ 109,288.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Guo Wei kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 21.332,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 240.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guo Wei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bathroom Series No. 4 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.327.500,00 (€ 109.288,40).
